 | All of the Bible is inspired by God, is without error, and is the sole
authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17) |
 | There is only one true God, manifested as three personal distinctions as
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19-20). |
 | God directly created the entire universe, including mankind, in six
literal 24-hour days (Genesis 1; Exodus 20:11) |
 | Jesus Christ, God's son, was born of Mary while she was still a virgin,
lived a sinless life, died, and came back to life three days later to pay the
full penalty for our sins (Matthew 1:25; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 |
 | The Holy Spirit works to convict people of sin and bears witness of the
truth of the Gospel (John 16:8-10) |
 |
Satan is a real being who was created perfect
but, because of pride and rebellion against God he became the originator of
sin. We believe that he blinds the minds of unbelievers and makes accusations
against believers before God (Isaiah 14:22-15; Ezekial 28:12-17; 2 Corinthians
4:3-4; Revelation 12:10) |
 |
God created mankind in His image and likeness,
but that image is marred due to Adam's sin. Further, people are born totally
depraved and unable to provide for their own redemption (Genesis 1:27; Romans
1:24; Romans 5:12) |
 |
Jesus Christ provides forgiveness and salvation
by his death, burial, and resurrection on our behalf and that this salvation
is received by faith and not by anything that a person does (1 Corinthians
15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9) |
 |
At salvation the Holy Spirit fully and
permanently indwells the believer (John 14:16; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians
12:13) |
 |
Salvation is permanent and it cannot be lost or
taken away (john 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Peter 1:4) |
 |
God gave spiritual gifts to the church for it to
frunction properly, the revelatory and confirming gifts like tongues, healing,
and prophecy have ceased since they are no longer needed (Romans 12:6-8; 1
Corinthians 13:8-10) |
 |
There are two church ordinances – Baptism and
the Lord's Supper. Neither ordinance will have any effect on salvation; rather
both are symbolic portrayals of our salvation (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians
11:23-26) |
 |
The Lord Jesus Christ will come in the air and
call all believers to meet Him in the air, then take them to heaven in the
Rapture. The next event will be seven years of turmoil on the earth called the
Tribulation, followed by Christ's return with the believers to rule the earth
for 1000 years (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Revelation 3:22) |
